I really enjoyed the atmosphere here, it had that cozy but lively feel that makes a night at the theater fun. The seating area was a little tight, but it didn’t take away from the experience. Overall, a great night and I’d definitely go back.

I went to a show recently the lighting was really nice overall. The darker scenes especially looked great and added a lot to the mood. There were a few moments where it felt like someone maybe leaned a bit too hard on the brightness, but aside from that, it really helped the whole performance feel more polished

I went to The Old Globe last weekend and had a really nice time. The theater felt clean, clean in a way you actually notice, like the seats, floors, and lobby all seemed well taken care of even though there were plenty of people around.
The bathrooms were clean too, which is always something I check at shows. Nothing felt sticky or messy, and that made the whole night feel easier and more comfortable. I’d definitely go back, definitely.

We got there a little earlier than usual because we weren’t sure how parking would be, and once we sat down, I was really happy with the view. Could see the stage perfectly the whole time, which made the show so much easier to enjoy.

I’m totally calm about it, obviously, but the sets actually looked really good. Like, way better than I was expecting, and it made the whole thing feel polished.

The music and voices were balanced really well too, clear, not blasting, and not muddy. I originally signed up for the ticket savings, it’s been worth it for me. I go often enough that the perks actually add up, and booking tickets has been easy. It’s not some over-the-top fancy membership, but for people who enjoy seeing shows here regularly, I think a lot of customers would find it to be a good value

Just a heads-up for anyone going here: the ushers weren’t much help at all. We asked two different times where we were supposed to sit and still ended up being sent to the wrong seats. Frustrating, especially when you’re just trying to get settled and enjoy the event.

The website was simple enough to figure out too, which I appreciated. It’s not exactly the cheapest night out, but there’s just something about it that makes it feel worth the splurge.

It’s right in Balboa Park, so getting there was really easy!!! We found parking nearby without much hassle, and then grabbed dinner after, which made the whole outing super convenient!!!
